The fourth and final of the Montessori Mobile series is The Dancer Mobile. This mobile has 4 figures resembling an abstract human form with the head, arms and legs suspended individually on thin thread. The material used is lightweight paper with a shiny or iridescent finish - this enables the figures to 'dance' in the natural airflow and catch the light at different angles. This mobile is an introduction to the concept of 'constant and change' and teaches that even when objects move, their color and shape do not.
