Sort by seasons and learn their characteristics. Make sure to look at the theme plates closely. Which seasons do you recognize? Explain your observations. Now take the image cards, name then, and place them with the correct season. For each, explain why this specific card belongs to that season. Note that the image cards differ in difficulty. In fact, a number of the images are identical on the theme sheet. Examples of images that are identical on the theme sheet are red rain boots in autumn and a bird house in winter. Other images correspond to a certain season as well, but pose more of a challenge. For example, consider the pumpkin in autumn and ice skating in winter.
